Abstract
MgBO2 (OH) nanorods have been synthesized using MgCl2 o 6H2O, H3BO3 and NaOH as materials. The process involved precursor slurry of MgBO2(OH) preparation by rotor-stator reactor and subsequent hydrothermal method. Then pure single crystalline monoclinic Mg2B2O5 nanowhiskers with high dispersity were synthesized by sintering above MgBO2(OH) nanorods. The size results of Mg2B2O5 nanowhiskers are as follows; diameters are in the range of 50-105 nm, lengths are in the range of 6-13 μm and average aspect ratio is 120. The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDX, TEM and SAED. Results show that the optimal hydrothermal temperature and hydrothermal time for MgBO2 (OH) nanorods are 210℃ and 8 h respectively, here MgBO2(OH) nanorods with good dispersity, regular morphology and narrow size distribution could be synthesized.关键词
