摘要

Abstract

CdS nanoparticles with different size were successfully synthesized via ultrasonic method, using cadmium chloride ( CdCl2 o 2. 5H2O) , Thioacetamide ( CH3C = SNH2 ) as raw materials, water, ionic liquids (IL) and aqueous solution of ionic liquids as solvent, respectively. The phase, morphologies and optical properties of the products were investigated by XRD, SEM, IR and UV-Vis techniques; The UV light was used as light source to investigate the photocatalytic activity of CdS nanoparticles for the degradation of methyl orange. The results showed that the CdS nanoparticles was significantly smaller and to make greater in band gap owing to the addition of ionic liquids. Photocatalytic tests showed that the as-prepared CdS nanoparticles in ionic liquids have high photocatalytic degradation rate for methyl orange under UV light. Comparative experiments of ionic liquids also showed that the as-prepared CdS nanoparticles in triethylenetetramine salts Containing ethyl-sulfate anions have high photocatalytic activity.
