摘要

Abstract

Photocatalytic material of Ag @ AgCl/Ag3PO4 responded to visible light was prepared by precipitation replacement method and characterized by using XRD, UV-vis and XPS analysis methods in detail. The degradation of methyl orange in water was chosen as a probe reaction to study the photocatalytic activity of Ag @ AgCl/Ag3PO4 under visible light irradiation. The Ag@ AgCl/Ag3PO4 catalyst had complete crystal form, the narrow band-gap, and excellent absorption capacity for visible light clearly showed from XRD and UV-Vis absorption spectra results. SEM analysis results showed that the catalyst particles were 0. 5 μm or so. XPS spectra indicated that the content of Ag+ and Ag existed on catalyst surface was significantly enhanced. Experimental results showed that the main reasons for high photocatalytic activity of Ag@ AgCl/Ag3PO4 may be reduce of band-gap, synergistic effect of the surface plasma resonance effect between Ag0 and AgCl and strong oxidizing of Cl .
