A method of using variable reactance type soft starter to decrea propsed to solve the problem of the induction motor's greater starting curr mathematical model is established, the relationship between the thyristor the motor current is analysed, and the mathematics analytic expression betw duction angle and the motor current is concluded, which provide some tec crease the starting current. se starting current is ent.
