Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence of infant massage on premature jaundice and common complications. Methods A total of 72 premature infants in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the massage group and control group (36 cases each) from January 2011 to May 2012. The massage group was given international massage for 15 d, twice a day, 15 min each time. The control group was given the same comprehensive care except massage. The change in bilirubin concentration and incidence of common complications between the two groups were compared. Results The massage group had lower bilirubin concentration 5 — 9 d after birth and lower incidence of common complications than the control group (P <0. 05 ) . Conclusion The massage can effectively reduce the incidence of premature jaundice and complications, and improve the quality of life of premature infants.关键词
