自噬及其在肿瘤中的作用
Autophagy and its role in oncogenesis
摘要
Abstract
Autophagy is a process by which stimulated cells phogocytize own intracellular cytoplasm or organelles and eventually are degraded in lysosomes. Both being patterns of programmed cell death, there are similarities as well as differences between autophagy and apoptosis. The regulatory mechanisms of autophagy are very complex and highly conserved, which may be associated with PI3K-Akt-mTOR, class III PI3K complex and RAS-RAF-1-MEK- ERK1/2 signaling translations. Currently it is revealed that there are several genetic links between autophagy defects and cancer. However, the molecular mechanisms by which autophagy functions in tumor suppression are poorly defined. Increasing evidence suggests that the tumor suppressor functions of autophagy may be related to both its potential prodeath and prosurvival effects.关键词
