摘要

Abstract

The 9-cw-epoxycarotenoid dioxygenasel in Arachis hypogaea L. (AhNCEDl) is thought to be the rate-limiting enzyme in the abscisic acid (ABA) biosynthetic pathway in peanut. The effect of abiotic stresses on AhNCEDl expression and ABA content of peanut leaves were studied. The AhNCEDl expression in leaves were enhanced rapidly at 1 h under osmotic stress, and the ABA content were increased along with the stress time. The AhNCEDl expression were enhanced after treat with NaCl for 7 h, and the ABA content were increased significantly after stress for 10 h. After low temperature treatment for 10 h, AhNCEDl expression were enhanced, and then ABA content were also increased. There was almost no effect of high temperature on AhNCEDl expression in peanut leaves, and the ABA content were not changed nearly. These results showed that the peanut may through activating AhNCEDl expression to enhance the ABA level in response to abiotic stresses, to get used to outside ambient environment.
