摘要

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the bone formation ability of silk fibroin-hydroxylapatite osteoid composite biomaterial in vivo. Methods The materials were implanted to the femoral medullary cavity of the New Zealand white rabbits with silk fibroin-hydroxyapatite osteoid composite biomaterials in experiment group and hydroxyapatite in control group. At weeks 4,8,12,specimens were removed. Type I collagen was stained by immunohistochemical staining and the integral optical density of type I collagen was measured by Motic Med 6.0 image anylysis system. Results Immunohistochemical staining showed that the positive staining of type I collagen in experi ment group was higher than that in control group respectively at weeks 4,8,12. The integral optical density of positive expression of type I collagen in experiment group was higher than that in control group at different time(P <0.05). Conclusion Bone formation ability of silk fibroin-hydroxyapatite osteoid composite biomaterials is better than that of pure hydroxyapatite. And it is expected to become a new type of bone substitute materials.
