Abstract
Objectives : To investigate the main risk factors correlated with the incidence of maternal mortality and provide evidence for decision-making on maternal mortality prevention. Methods :Case-control studies of maternal mortality were gathered from PubMed, CBMdisc, and CJFD( 1991-2011) using the search words of "maternal mortality", "the risk factor", "impact factor" , "case-control". Every research was evaluated, and then analyzed with Stata12.0 software. Results :Twenty-one case-control studies were included , the cumulative cases and controls were 4033 and 14789 respectively. The pooled OR values and 95% Cl of multivariate analysis were as follows: Mother' s education 1. 400(1. 367 - 1. 424), Husband' s education 3.009(2.023 -4.474), Family income 0.200(0.157 -0.254), Antenatal care 2.060(1.294 -3.281), Delivery place 4.953(3.776 -6.496), Delivery mode 5.731 (3.795 -8.654), Retained placenta 5.070(2.499 ～ 10.287), Complication during pregnancy 1.812(1.478-2.221), Times of abortion 1.199(0.376-3.825). Conclusions :The main risk factors influencing the incidence of maternal mortality are Mother's low level of education .Husband' s low level of education, Family delivery, Caesarean section, Retained placenta and Complication during pregnancy. The protective factor is High family income.关键词
