摘要

Abstract

The mechanisms of the modification of activated carbon as an adsorbent and its application in flue gas desulfurization are discussed. The effects of the pore structure, surface chemical property and metallic ion loading of the modified activated carbon on the flue gas desulfurization are summarized. It is concluded that the modifications can promote the flue gas desulfurization. The research directions in future are proposed, which are the microcosmic mechanisms of the activated carbon modification and desulfurization, the effect of the activated carbon modification on the removal of low concentration SO2 and the industrial application of the modified activated carbon.
