摘要

Abstract

Nativelikeness studies deal with the upper limit in SLA.Bilingual nativelikeness refers to the near native speaker's competence,rather than his or her performance.It is distinct from monolingual native speaker's level.There prevail two major misjudgments in SLA:performance is mistaken for competence;monolingual native speaker's level is mistaken for bilingual nativelikeness.Three major measures need to be taken to avoid the above problems:well-suited language items,multiple language tasks,and broad duplication studies.
