变译理论及其在外宣翻译中的应用
Translation Variation Theory and Its Application to Translation of Publicity Materials
摘要
Abstract
The translation variation theory provides a new angle of view for translation study.With the help of the translation variation theory,translator's subjectivity is emphasized and the reader's specific requirements are met.Although the source text is partially denied,its value is highlighted.There are more over 10 methods in translation variation,such as selection translation,edited translation,adaptation translation,and so on.In Chinese-English translation of publicity materials,translators can make use of all the translation variation methods on the basis of source text,which means they break the normal procedure of full translation and manage to make arrangements to benefit readers,convey the information correctly,and meet different target-text readers' requirements so that the quality of the translation can be improved.关键词
