Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of fluorouracil slow-release agents on the growth of tumor and the expressions of Surviving and Caspase-3 in nude mice with subcutaneous planting colorectal cancer tumors. Methods Nude mice with subcutaneous planting colorectal cancer tumors were divided into 3 groups: PBS control group, 5-fluorouracil group, and fluorouracil slow-release agents group. The tumor size and tumor inhibition rate were recorded, the serum level of CEA was determined by chemical luminescence method, and the expressions of Surviving and Caspase-3 were measured by half quantitative RT-PCR method. Results The growth of subcutaneous planting colorectal cancer tumors was inhibited by fluorouracil slow-release agents, the serum level of CEA was decreased, the expression of Surviving was down - regulated, and the expression of Caspase-3 was increased. Conclusion Fluorouracil slow-release agents could inhibit the growth of tumors and reduce the serum level of CEA by inhibiting the expression of Survivin and raising the expression of Caspase-3 in nude mice with subcutaneous planting colorectal cancer tumors.关键词
