摘要

Abstract

Hypoglycemic activities of many kinds of lactic acid bacteria have been proved. The article summarized current clinical applications and the research progress on hypoglycemic activity of lactic acid bacteria, and their hypoglycemic mechanism and bioactive compounds were analyzed. The safety and the future direction of research in this field were also discussed. The results of this study provided reference for exploiting new hypoglycemic drug from lactic acid bacteria for the treatment of diabetes.
