Analysis of Chemical Constituents of Rhodiola crenulata Using High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

Abstract
The extracts of Rhodiola crenulata in Xinjiang were investigated by high-performance liquid chromatography and electrospray quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-Q-TOF-MS) in both positive- and negative-ion mode. Elemental compositions of compounds were confirmed by accurate mass and isotope analysis (the value of Sig-maFit) . Tandem MS was further applied for the structural analysis in positive-ion mode, and protonated or NH4+ adduct precursor ions were selected for the fragmentation experiments. Twelve compounds, including a pair of isomer, from the extracts of R. crenulata were identified or tentatively characterized based on elemental compositions and tandem mass spectra.关键词
