Abstract

WO3/SiO2 catalysts for synthesis of glutaric acid (GAC)via catalytic oxidation of cyclopentene were prepared by ultrasound impregnation method with ammonium metatungstate as precursor and SiO2 as support, and XRD, FT-IR and BET were used to characterize the catalysts. The effect of loading amount of WO3 and calcination temperature on the catalytic performance of the catalysts was investigated. The results showed that under the optimal reaction conditions of 6 hours and 88t, the GAC yield could reach 65.9% over the catalyst prepared under the optimal conditions of calcination at 500℃ and WO3 loading 30% by mass.
