摘要

Abstract

In order to improve the rate of penetration ( ROP,in short) ,shorten the period of drilling and save drilling costs in coal bed gas well drilling,ROP is raised by improving flow field at well bottom,reducing the crushing strength of rock and the chip -hold - down effect based on the principle of hydraulic pulse cavitating jet drilling technology. The technology has undergone field test in Well Zhi 4. The results of the field test show that the technology in the experiments doesn' t need to change the original downhole assembly,there are no special requirements to bits and drilling parameters,can be effectively applied to coal bed gas well drilling and average ROP in this field test is increased by 100. 7% compared with drilling the same horizon of the adjacent wells under the same down hole assembly and similar parameters.
