摘要

Abstract

Transient electro-magnetic methods (TEM) used in our country has been a device with 100~ 200 m long wire coil. When thr surveys are carried out in the mountain areas and the complicated topo-graphic areas and when the base investments are conducted in the ground highlystoreyed buildings and the underground engineering in the urban areas, coil laying in this device is difficult with difficult construc-tion and low efficiency. In order to solve this problem, TEM small coil is designed so as to make the con-struction become fast and easy, and at the same time, the technical method to detect the concealed faults is found so that the fault point poisioning is accurate. This paper mainly analyzes the performances of TEM small coil and its principles of detecting the concealed faults. The real cases of engineering investi-gation indicate that TEM small coil is of the horizontal high resolution and high efficiency.
