摘要

Abstract

A output-cavity with new output-taper for Ka-band TEoi mode gyroklystron was designed with the method of sine and cosine fitting, and the coupled wave theory of radius transition waveguide. The transmission parameter, reflection coefficient and suppression to parasitic modes (TE02 mode and TE03 mode) were studied after numerical calculation with Mat-lab and simulation optimization with HFSS. The simulation results show when the length of the transition section is 80 mm and the diameter changes from 14 mm to 32 mm, the transmission coefficient is > -0. 016 dB in the range of 33~35 GHz, reflection parameter is< - 55 dB, the coupling coefficient to TEo2 mode is <-25 dB and TE03 mode is < -55 dB. The cavity's the center frequency is 34. 075 GHz and Q is 109. 6, and the mode purity of TE01 mode is >0. 94.
