Abstract
In order to solve the problem that the traditional α-β filtering algorithms are not effective for maneuvering target tracking, a detailed analysis of their underlying causes is made, and then an improvement of α-β filter algorithm is proposed in the paper. The algorithm is not necessary to assume the model of target maneuvering, and the mobile acceleration of the target can be estimated as part of the filter state. The acceleration as input control is introduced to the α-β filter state estimation e-quation for the maneuvering target tracking. Compared with the original algorithm, the new algorithm has the advantages of less calculation and real time maneuvering target tracking. The simulation results show that the new algorithm in the comprehensive performance is much better than the original algorithm.关键词
