摘要

Abstract

This paper briefly reviews the development history of isotope mass spectrometer and introduces the technology progress of 7 various modern commercial instruments.The basic structure and characteristics of each generation of the instrument technology are described in detail.Some important parameters affecting the sensitivity,abundance sensitivity,precision and resolution of isotope ratio measurements on isotope mass spectrometers are discussed.The main performance characteristics and the classification method of the modern isotope mass spectrometers are comprehensively given and its application advantages in different areas were briefly compared.In the end,the future development of isotope mass spectrometer technology is forecasted.
