Determination of Environmental Hormone in Water by Yeast with h-ER Gene

Abstract
Objective:The concentration of enviromental hormone in the water accurately is determinated.Methods: After enviromental hormone is combined by the yeast with h-ER gene uniquely,β-galactosidase is produced. The concen- tration of enviromental hormone can be discovered by determinating the activity of the β-galactosidase. Result: The con- centration of 17[3-estradiol is related to the activity of the β-galactosidase in 'S' curve, when its concentration is between 10H to 109mol/L .(correlation coefficient is 0.984) .To make the determination more accurately ,the concentration should between 5.88 10-nmol/L to 1.44 10 μ mol/L.And then the addition standard recovery will between 74% to 108%. Conclu- sion: This method is accurate, reliable and with good repeatability in the recommendatory rang.It can be used in determi- nating the concentration of enviromental hormone in water and waste water.关键词
