Abstract
Kjeldahl nitrogen analyzer is commonly used in laboratory, which is generally used for the determination of protein in food,, dairy products, feed, agricultural-by products, and etc. Distillation is main function of nitrogen analyzer. This paper expands new uses of nitrogen analyzer through improvement and utilization of distillation, thus it enables us to test in a more convenient and quicker way compared with the conventional tests, such as the detection of volatile basic nitrogen, sulfites, alcohol, formaldehyde, volatile acids, ammonia, and essential oils, and the extraction of flavors and frazrances. This paper also concludes the steps, reagents and indicators needed for Kjeldahl and direct distillation.关键词
