Abstract
Objective To make comparison between patients taking orally lidocaine and those taking dyclonine hydrochloride mucilage in order to evaluate the the superiority of dyclonine hydrochloride mucilage in aspects of anesthesia, defoaming, observation effects and taste. Methods 640 volunteers were selected to receive the superior gastrointestinal endoscopy and randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 320 ones in each group. Ten to fifteen minutes before the examination, subjects in the experimental group and the control group orally took 10 ml dyclonine hydrochloride mucilage or 10 ml lidocaine, respectively. Comparison was made in aspects of anesthesia, defoaming, observation effects and taste between the two groups. Results The experimental group is obviously superior to the control group in the aspects of anesthesia, defoaming, observation effects and taste. There were significant differences between the two groups (P <0. 01). Conclusion As an assistant medicine used before the superior gastrointestinal endoscopy anesthesia, dyclonine hydrochloride mucilage is convenient, easy to use and safe. It can largely improve the patients' compliance and the quality of superior gastrointestinal endoscopic examination.关键词
