摘要
Abstract
Objective To introduce the application of double - cavity balloon urinary catheter to the treatment of epistaxis and the prevention of complications. Methods Clinical analysis was made among 96 patients with epistaxis who received choanal plugging by double - cavity balloon urinary catheter in our hospital from 2003 to 2010. Results All patients were successfully healed, and the cure rate was 100%. Except that one patient suffered from the anterior nans stenosis caused by the compression of urinary catheter, others had no obvious complication. Conclusion Choanal plugging by double - cavity balloon urinary catheter is a safe and effective method for the treatment of epistaxis.关键词
