Investigation into the Bronzes,History and Geography of Yingguo
摘要
Abstract
Yingguo of Zhou times now is in Pingdingshan.The bronzes in it which are either passed on generation after generation or discovered recently are as many as 78 pieces.These bronzes provides us with reliable clues through which we study the culture and history of Yingguo.Wu king of Zhou times offers the position of "Jianguo",which is called "Yingjian".Cheng king wipes out Yingguo and builds a new Yingguo whose family name is Ji in the original place.The original city is in the north of Shahe which is now in join of Shahe and Pengshui,that is in today's south of Liangzhuang,west of Baiguishan reservoir of Pingdingshan.King Zhou attatches an importance to Yingguo before middle period of Zhou times.It is destroyed in Chu in the period of Chunqiu.关键词
