Segmentation and 3D Reconstruction of Target Nuclei in Parkinson's Disease by Amira

Abstract
Objective To perform the segmentation and 3D reconstruction of target nuclei in Parkinson's disease by Amira. Methods The head data of one healthy person were imported to image workstation. By registration, shear, segmentation and surface reconstruction, stereo images of the head, the third ventricle, caudate nucleus, putamen and thalamus and globus pallidus were obtained by Amira. Results The reconstructed structures were realistic and vivid, which reproduced the natural shape, location and abutted relationship of every nucleus. Conclusion The visualization of target nuclei in Parkinson's disease can be realized by 3D reconstruction based on Amira, which is of great significance for the imaging diagnosis and stereotactic surgery.关键词
