Abstract
Objective To investigate the value and the influence of pathology information system in the hospital pathology department. Methods The application of pathology information system in examination requisition, specimens registration and graphic diagnosis report was analyzed. Results The pathology information system standardized the working flow of the pathology department and facilitated information inquiry, and thus enhanced the working efficiency and quality. Conclusion The pathology information system, with the timely and accurate pathology report, has a brilliant perspective in the pathology
department.
