Research of Electrochemical Behavior of Thorium in LiCl-KCl Melts

Abstract
The electrochemical process on the Mo cathode of Th4+ ion in the LiCl-KCl melts was studied by the cyclic voltammetry and chronopotentiometry. The results of research show that the electrode process is controlled by diffusion and the temperature dependence of diffusion coefficient D can be described by In D = 33. 94 —2. 879×104/T. The apparent potential is E0vsC1 =-3. 45 + 7. 5 × 10-4 T.关键词
