摘要

Abstract

The coordinated control of battery storage and diesel generators was the key for operation stability of the isolated AC microgrid system. In this paper, based on the fast response characteristic of battery storage system, the coordinated control method of the diesel generators and battery energy storage was presented. When the diesel generators work as the main power source, an auxiliary power control signal was added to the conventional droop control to prevent system crash caused by long-time over-current of the diesel generators and improve stability of the micro-grid. To avoid short-term outage that happens when the main power source in the micro-grid changes from the diesel generators to energy storage system or from energy storage system to the diesel generators, the seamless transition control strategy of the diesel generators and energy storage system was proposed. Finally, PSCAD simulation software was applied to verify the proposed method.
