摘要

Abstract

Based on the independent development dense phase pneumatic conveying system, conveying tests of Yanzhou bituminous pulverized coal using CO2 and N2 as carrier gas were carried out. Comparisons of differences and similarities of conveying characteristics between the two kinds of carrier gases were made. Results indicate that influences of operating conditions on conveying characteristics show similar rules, while there are significant differences in conveying characteristics when different kinds of carrier gases are used. Though the kinds of carrier gases are different, both solids mass flow rate and slip velocity increase with increase of total conveying differential pressure while decrease as supplemental gas flow rate increases, and solids mass flow rate increases with increase of slip velocity. Under the same operating conditions, solids mass flow rate and slip velocity are both smaller when using CO2 as carrier gas, and the relationship between them were significantly different.
