摘要

Abstract

The effective measurements of modular multi-level converter (MMC) valves used in voltage-sourced converter HVDC (VSC-HVDC) transmission are extremely needed for design verification and operational reliability analysis. In this paper, the operational test method based on the operation principle of MMC valves has been proposed by analyzing the steady-state performances and critical stresses of valves, the corresponding test circuit also has been designed and investigated under the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation environment. The simulation results and the experiment show the correctness and the affectivity of the proposed method.
