Abstract
A PLC-based wind turbine simulation system was proposed in order to provide an effective validation method for the master control system design of a wind turbine. Based on the entire analysis of a wind turbine, the simulation was implemented by PLC language defined in IEC61131-3 standard. The inputs and outputs of the simulation system and master control system are connected together with configurable PLC based I/O and communication modules. With all measurement points of a wind turbine, the system has the ability to simulate status of all devices. It can be used to test several aspects of the master control system including control logic, controller software and hardware and cabinet electrical circuits. Because of compact construction and low cost, the system can be utilized for not only the validation of the master control system design, but also the production test of the wind turbine manufacture process .关键词
