Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of heated irrigation fluid on body temperature of percutaneous nephrolithotomy ( PCNL) patients. Methods 100 patients with PCNL were randomly divided into two groups: group A (n - 50) and group B ( n = 50 ). Patients in group A accepted room-temperature physiological saline to irrigate during PCNL while those of group B accepted 31℃ physiological saline. The changes of temperature and general data were compared between the two groups and the changes of body temperature were also compared within each group. Results There were no significant difference in age, weight, operation duration, irrigation fluid, amount of transfusion fluid and preoperative temperature between the two groups. Postoperative temperature of the two groups were obviously lower than preoperative temperature ( P < 0. 01 ). The average temperature during operation in group A was significantly lower than preoperative temperature (P<0. 01) ,but there was no statistical significance in group B. The postoperative temperature and average temperature of group B were higher than those of group A during operation (P <0. 01). The range of the body temperature decrease in group B was significantly lower than that in group A (P <0. 01). Conclusion The heated irrigation fluid can effectively prevent hypothermia during and after PCNL.关键词
