Abstract
Objective: To explore the relationship between personality, social support and alienation of adolescents' Methods: Big-five Factor Personality Inventory, Social Support Rating Scale and the questionnaire for adolescent students' sense of alienation were used to measure 541 junior and senior middle school students. Results: ①Adolescents' environmental alienation was higher than social alienation, while interpersonal alienation was the lowest. ②Significant differences in alienation of adolescents existed among grades, however, gender difference was not significant ③Alienation of adolescents was negatively correlated to openness, consciousness of responsibility, extroversion, group compatibility, emotional stability and social support. ④Alienation of adolescents could be significantly predicted by the five dimensions of personality and social support. ⑤Social support could comptelely mediate the effect of group compatibility on alienation of adolescents; social support could partially mediate the effect of consciousness of responsibility and extroversion on alienation of adolescents. Conclusion: Personality has direct influence on alienation of adolescents and has indirect influence on it through social support.关键词
