Abstract
Objective: To explore the effects of father involvement on children's prosocial behavior and the mediating role of father-child attachment. Methods: The research surveyed 338 pupils from Grade three to Grade six and their fa-there by the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA), Inventory of Father Involvement (IFI), and the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire-self-report version (self-report SDQ). Results: Father Involvement had significant impact on children's prosocial behavior, and the father-child attachment significantly mediated the relations between father involvement and children's prosocial behavior. Conclusion: Father involvement implements significant positive effects on children's prosocial behavior, and father-child attachment plays a mediating role of the two variables.关键词
