Observation of duloxetine combined with small dose of quetiapine in the treatment of depression with somatic symptoms

Abstract
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of duloxetine combined with small dose of quetiapine in the treatment of depression with somatic symptoms. Methods Sixty - eight cases of depression with somatic symptoms were randomly divided into two groups, one group was treated with duloxetine, and the other was treated with duloxetine combined with small dose of quetiapine. Treatment for before treatment and after 1, 2, 4, 8 weeks, the efficacy and safety were evaluated with Hamilton Depression Scale - 24 ( HAMD - 24 ) and Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale (TESS). Results The effect rate in the research group was 94. 1% , higher than that of the control group of 76. 5% , which of two groups had significant difference. Side effects increased after treating with quetiapine, but loss within a week, such as weakness, drowsiness. Conclusion Duloxetine combined with small dose of quetiapine in the treatment of depression with somatic symptoms can improve the efficiency and side effects of treatment are mild.关键词
