Antibacterial activity of medicinal extract for exterior application of BaifDai and its synergy effects with benzylpenicillin in vitro
摘要
Abstract
Objective To evaluate the antibacterial activity of the medicinal extract for exterior application of BaifDai ( MEEAB ) combination with benzylpenicillin sodium ire vitro . Methods The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) was determined by use of two - fold dilution method. Results There was good antibacterial activity of MEEAB combination with benzylpenicillin sodium against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The MIC of MEEAB plus benzylpenicillin sodium against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were 0. 25,4. 00 mg ? L-1 ;1,4 mg ? L-1 , respectively. Conclusion MEEAB plus benzylpenicillin sodium had more synergy inhibitory effect on the Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.关键词
