摘要

Abstract

Objective To discuss the advantage of generalized additive models in dealing with nonlinear data. Methods By applying generalized additive models and general linear models to the data containing nonlinear variable from clinic trail of H1N1 vaccine, the associated factors of H1N1 titer were analyzed. Results Comparing with general linear models , the goodness of fit of GAMs with less deviation and mean squared error is better. Conclusion Dealing with the nonlinear data, GAMs perform better than general linear models, suggesting that GAMs should be chosen under such circumstance.
