摘要
Abstract
Hypertension is a critical risk of cardiovascular disease, and blood pressure (BP) control in hypertensive individuals is one of effective interventions for reducing cardiovascular event risk. However, It is recognized that more attention is paid to drug and dose selection for the individual. Metoprolol, recommended as the first - line treatment in patients with essential hypertension, has significant effects on pressure reduction, but there are large differences in pharmacodynamic responses of different patients. This article summarizes the influence of genetic factors on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of metoprolol, furthermore, it analyses some non - genetic factors which are aim at providing reference to personalized medicine in clinic.关键词
