Abstract
Objective To determine the expression of Hif-1 alpha and Rankl/Opg mRNA in in vitro human periodontal ligament fibroblast pellets subjected to overloaded pressure. Methods Constructed human periodontal ligament fibroblast pellets were grouped into 0.2 Mpa, 4 h compressure group and untreated control group and the mRNA level of Hif-1 alpha, Rankl and Opg was detected by real-time RT-PCR. Results Hif-1 alpha and Rankl mRNA were significantly increased in compressure group and the compressure downregulated the Opg mRNA. Conclusion Overloaded pressure could upregulate Hif-1 alpha and increase the ration of Rankl/Opg mRNA, which may contribute to osteoclastogenesis in periodontitis.关键词
