Summarization on EHEC adhesion mechanism
摘要
Abstract
Enterohaemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC) is a bacterium that can cause severe foodborne disease such as hemor-rhagic enteritis and haemolytic uraemic syndrome. One of the important pathogenic actions of EHEC is the ability to adhere to host intestinal cells. Many adhesion factors play roles in this process. This article described the type and mechanism of adhesion factors belonging to EHEC, highlighting research progress of adhesion mechanism of adhesion proteins, fimbriae and li-popolysaccharide.关键词
