摘要

Abstract

Clostridium perfringens is an important zoonotic pathogen that can cause; various diseases in animals and hu -mans . The antimicrobial resistance in Clostridium perfringens is common in animal production . M ost of the resistant genes in Clostridium perfringens locate on the conjngative plasm ids or mobile genetic elements , which accelerate its dissemination . In this article , the resistance mechanism of Clostridium perfringens to the commonly used antimicrobials including tetracyclines , macrolides , lincosamides , streptogramins , cloramphenicol and bacitracin was summarized . In addition , the role the conjngative plasmids or the mobilized transposons played in the horizontal dissemination of the resistant genes in Clostridium perfringens was clarified . The deep understanding on the resistance mechanism of Clostridium perfringens of animal origin can aid the control of this pathogen , which provides the guarantee for the food safety and human health .
