Abstract

Based on the frequency domain transfer characteristics between the track irregularity input and the vehicle dynamics response output, a new method for quickly determining the sensitive wavelength of track irregularity corresponding to vehicle system was put forward. By this method, the sensitive wavelength of track irregularity for a certain type of high-speed vehicle was analyzed. The results show that within the speed range of 300~360 km ? H-1, about 8 m multi-wave cycle vertical track irregularity wavelength will cause the stronger vertical vibration of high-speed vehicle and about 37 m multi-wave cycle lateral track irregularity wavelength will cause the greater lateral vibration of high-speed vehicle. Two non stationary vibration signal analysis techniques, which are short-time Fourier transform and wavelet packet analysis, were used to analyze the car body vertical acceleration characteristics of vehicle system. The results show that; the time-frequency characteristics can be more fully revealed and thus the non-stationary characteristics of the track irregularity input signal related with the vehicle vibration response signal can be indirectly analyzed.
