Research Aduance in the Regulations of Eggshell Quality in Laying Hens
摘要
Abstract
Eggshell is not only as a container for the market egg, but also providing protection of the contents from mechanical forces and microorganism. Broken shell eggs and soft-shell eggs is a common phenomenon in the egg production. According to the statistics , it has made a loss of 6%~10% around the world, and in China we lost more than 5 billion every year, thus eggshell improvement is one of the most important problems demanding prompt solution. Lots of researchers were conducted in nutrition, especially in mineral elements for the past few years. This review summarized the research on the quality of the eggshell from the eggshell formation, constitution, the relevant factors and regulations.关键词
