维药硬尖神香草与其混淆品大苞荆芥的生药学鉴别
Pharmacognostic Identification of Uygur Medicine Hyssopus cuspidatus and Its Adulterant Nepeta bracteata

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To establish the method for pharmacognostic identification of Uygur medicine Hyssopus cuspidatus and its adulterant Nepeta bracteata. METHODS: H. cuspidatus and N. bracteata were identified with pharmacognosy in terms of property, microscopy, physicochemical. RESULTS: The stem of N. bracteata was hollow, but H. cuspidatus was not. Several oval prothenchyma spread inside epidermal cell of H. cuspidatus, but no prothenchyma was found in N. bracteata. The arrangement of xylem was like a fan in the stem transverse section of H. cuspidatus, but the xylem was wide and woody in the stem transverse section of N. bracteata. In the reaction of Keller-kiliani, the interface appeared reddish-brown and then turned into light green, and the upper layer was blue in N. bracteata. But the interface didn' t appear reddish-brown in H. cuspidatus. CONCLUSION: The study can provide reference for the identification of H. cuspidatus and N. bracteata.关键词
