摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of P-elemene on the vasculogenesis,apoptosis and the activity of MMP-2,MMP-9 in endothelial cells, and to explore the inhibiting effect of P-elemene on tumor angiogenesis. Methods ECV304 cells were cultured in vitro, and treated with P-elemene; the angiogenie ability of ECV304 cells was evaluated on Matrigel. Apoptosis were analyzed by using flow cytometry, and the activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in ECV304 cells were delected by -Zymography. Results Comparing with the control group,the tube formation from the P-elemene treated ECV304 cells on Matrigel notably decreased. With the increase of the dose and administration time,the apoptosis of ECV3O4 cells was significantly increased. P-elemene inhibited the activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in endothelial cell. Conclusion P-elemene can enhance apoptosis of the endothelial cells cultured in vitro, inhibit their angiogenie ability, reduce the number of tube formation of ECV304 cells on Matrigel,and inhibit the activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9.
