摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of electrical spinal cord stimulation on cardiac ischemia area induced by cardiac ischemia reperfusion injury. Methods A total of 36 healthy male adult SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups (control group, cardiac ischemia group and cardiac ischemia + spinal cord stimulation group). The expression of substance P in central nervous system and the cardiac ischemic area of the latter two groups were observed and compared statistically. Results Compared with the control group, the expression of substance P in central nervous system was increased in cardiac ischemia group (P < 0.05). Comparing cardiac ischemia + spinal cord stimulation group with cardiac ischemia group, (lie spinal cord stimulation could reduce the expression of substance P during cardiac ischemia (P < 0.05). In cardiac ischemia group,the mean ratio of cardiac ischemic area to the left ventricle was about 46.51%±2.19%. In cardiac ischemia + spinal cord stimulation group,the mean ratio of cardiac ischemia area to the left ventricle was about 35.33%±3.34%,which was decreased by 30.0% compared with that in the cardiac ischemia group (P < 0.01),with significant difference. Conclusion Electrical spinal cord stimulation can decrease the algesia neurotransmitter and substance P in central nervous system,and also reduce the cardiac ischemic area caused by cardiac ischemia/reperfusion injury.
