Expression and Clinical Significance of RhoA Protein in Vulva Squamous Cell Carcinoma
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of RhoA protein in vulva squamous cell carcinoma(VSCC) tissues,and discuss its relationship with the VSCC clinical pathological factors,so as to provide a new theoretical foundation and to explore new valuable indicators for early diagnosis and judging prognosis in VSCC. Methods Specimens paraffin embedded tissues from 40 cases of VSCC with complete clinical data were collected as experiment group,and 20 cases (10 VIN II , 10 normal vulva skin) paraffin embedded tissue were chosen as control group. Supervision S-P two step immunohistochemical methods were performed to detect the expression of RhoA protein. SPSS 13.0 statistical software was applied for data analysis: the correlation between the expression of RhoA proteins and VSCC was determined. Results RhoA in normal skin tissue was not observed in vulvae expression, and the expression rate in VIN II was 10%. RhoA expression in VSCC tissue was significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.01 ). No statistically significant was found between the RhoA protein expression in VSCC tissue and histological grade (P > 0.05). There was correlation between the RhoA protein expression in VSCC tissue and the clinical stages or without lymph node metastasis (P < 0.01). Conclusion RhoA protein is involved in occurrence and development of the VSCC. RhoA protein expression plays a certainly role in the depth invasion and lymph node metastasis of the VSCC clinical process.关键词
