Progress on important genes controlling seed size
摘要
Abstract
Seed size is one of the main factors affecting crop yields. Essential gene searching for controlling seed size and high yield was important for crop breeding. So far, using gene deactivation and excessive expression analysis, some functional genes were found controlling seed size by regulating the degree of cell proliferation and e-longation. The genes were involved in development of embryo, endosperm and seed coat. This paper reviewed some of the identified genes controlling seed size.关键词
